How to use the markdown previewer

  1. Type or paste Markdown.
  2. Check the live preview.
  3. Copy the HTML or download it as an .html file.

Supported syntax

  • # Heading to ###### Heading
  • **bold**, _italic_, ~~strike~~, `code`
  • Lists, nested lists and - [x] task lists
  • Links, block quotes, horizontal rules, fenced code blocks and tables

For safety, HTML tags in your Markdown are displayed as text, and links that start with javascript: are disabled.

Questions

Why don’t images show?

For privacy the preview doesn’t load images from other websites. They appear as a placeholder with their description, and the HTML keeps the image link.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so what you paste never leaves your device.
