Draft policy. This document is a starting template and has not yet been reviewed by a legal professional. It may change.
This policy explains what information the operator of CapyHelp (“we”) processes when you use CapyHelp. The short version: the core tools run in your browser, and the text, numbers and passwords you enter are not sent to us.
Information you enter into tools
The Word Counter, Case Converter, Percentage Calculator, Password Generator and the standard Username, Bio and Hashtag generators process your input locally in your browser. That input is not transmitted to our servers and is discarded when you close or reload the page.
Optional AI suggestions
Some generators may offer optional, clearly labeled AI suggestions. If you choose to use them, the fields shown in that tool (such as keywords, a role or a topic) are sent to our server and forwarded to a third-party AI provider to generate the suggestions. We do not store this input or the results. The AI provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy. Please don't include personal or sensitive information in these fields.
Technical data
Like any website, our hosting infrastructure receives standard technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Our hosting provider may keep this in short-term server logs for security and reliability. To prevent abuse of the optional AI feature, we may temporarily keep a count of requests per IP address in memory; it is not written to permanent storage.
Cookies and local storage
CapyHelp currently does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent where required and update this policy.
If you hide the capybara mascot, that choice is also kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links. If you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Children
CapyHelp is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because the core tools don't send your input to us, we typically hold very little information about you. To make a request, contact the details on our Contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
